Current high school students are welcome to enroll in Work Experience Education (WEE) courses to earn college credit while still enrolled in high school. WEE courses let you turn a job, internship, agricultural project, or volunteer commitment into college credit — with support from an SRJC instructor along the way.

Agriculture 99I: Agricultural Internship
AGRI 99I is designed specifically for high school Agricultural CTE students completing SAE projects of 37.5+ hours per semester, with a high school teacher supervising the internship. Like other WEE courses, it includes:
- 1 unit of Dual Enrollment college credit
- Two (2) in-person meetings with an SRJC instructor
- An online, asynchronous Canvas course with required assignments
How to Enroll in a WEE Course
Follow these four steps to complete your enrollment in a Work Experience course:
Step A — Apply to SRJC
Go to dualenrollment.santarosa.edu and scroll to "Begin Credit Application." Use your full legal name exactly as it appears on your high school records. After setting up your CCCID account, complete the SRJC Summer/Fall 2026 application. On page 3, choose "High school and college at the same time" for your status. Please allow up to 10 days to receive your SRJC Student ID number (starts with "S").
Step B — Submit the Dual Enrollment Form
Complete this step only after you receive your SRJC ID. Go to the Dual Enrollment Request Form, find your high school in the alphabetical list, and use your full legal name and SRJC ID number. In the course section, enter the full course title: Work Experience Education 95, Work Experience Education 97, Work Experience Education 99i, or Agriculture 99i. If you are under 18 on September 21, enter a parent/guardian email carefully — they will need to sign the form electronically.
Step C — Upload Your Work Permit (paid positions only)
If you are under 18 by September 21 and have a paid internship or job, you are required to submit a work permit through the Work Permit upload form.
Step D — Have Your Site Supervisor Complete the SPA Form
Send the Supervisor Participation Agreement (SPA) form to your job or internship supervisor. Make sure they have your email address and know your high school site.
🎯 You're Done When…
- You applied to SRJC
- You received your SRJC ID #
- Your high school approves your Dual Enrollment form
- You upload your work permit, if you have a paid placement and are under 18 on 9/21
- Your site supervisor submits the SPA form
