COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Community Involvement courses are self-directed student volunteer courses designed to facilitate experiential learning and service to the community.  Students volunteer 50 hours per unit per semester for 0.5 to 3.0 units of credit at a variety of placements.  These include schools; hospitals; animal care facilities; environmental, homeless, elderly programs, daycare centers, and other various social service agencies.  Hours are flexible and arranged between the student and the organization.
